What is AI (Artificial Intelligence)?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a type of technology that allows computers and machines to do tasks that usually need human thinking. This includes things like solving problems, learning from experiences, understanding language, and recognizing patterns. AI uses a lot of data and special programs to imitate how humans think, and it can get better at its tasks as it learns more. Different areas of AI, like machine learning and natural language processing, all work together to create smarter machines.

AI is already a part of our daily lives. We can find it in our online banking/shopping, personalized social media feeds, video recommendations, face recognition, predictive text & autocorrect, GPS maps & routing, digital assistants (siri, alexa), and much more.

AI is also changing many industries, such as healthcare, finance, and transportation. In healthcare, AI tools help doctors find diseases faster and more accurately by looking at medical images and patient information. In finance, AI looks at market trends to help people make better investment choices. Self-driving cars use AI to navigate safely, which could change how we travel in the future. As AI continues to grow, it will have an even bigger impact on our lives, bringing both new possibilities and challenges.
