I think I am in my dream job ... seriously...
When I started in education 23 years ago, I would have never imagined that my path would lead to my current position. I received my BS degree in music education in 1994. Now, we are in 2016 and I am a tech integrationist. Quite the path, huh?
After a restless night last night, I came to the realization that I am so proud of my new job here at Richland SD that I am almost too excited to sleep at night. Each day, I help more and more people and that invigorates me! In my role, I have become a teacher of teachers. As I coach our teachers and staff in new and exciting ways to integrate tech into their classrooms, I think that I really have found my niche... and that makes me so happy.
We just celebrated thanksgiving last week and I can tell you that I am truly thankful for everyone that has helped me along my path as an educator. All of these wonderful people (fellow teachers, administrators, friends, family, etc.) have truly made an impact on my life!
So, I better get back to that job I love.... more posts to follow! :-)
